All recovered and back in my groove after the 50k a couple of weekends ago.  Coach Ian took it easy on me and my last several weeks were nice and easy...but this weekend I am going to have to use all my reserved energy for the back-to-back long run!  I am going to make myself believe all week and weekend that everythign will be fabulous and it will be so much fun to get to see so many people out and about on the trails!  AND think of all the calories I get to replace!!!!  I have already placed my orders for dinners....spaghetti (with ground chicken) on Friday night and a big fat cheeseburger on Saturday night.  The only time I can stomach a burger is after a long run, so may as well take advantage of it!  And of course Saturday is Happy, Happy Joy Day (for those that don't remember from last year, this is our made up Holiday for the last Saturday in January- because, otherwise January seems so depressing).  Ella and I went shopping for decorations last week and decorated the house, with a few exceptions.  And I am really, really, really hopeful that a homemade Mama Sue's sheetcake appears :)  The only question left is whether or not to dive into that ice bath Saturday after my run????  Any thoughts????
I did talk to a dietician this week to try to help me figure out my nausea and race day plan.  I am looking forward to trying a few different things this weekend.  Some of the issues I had could be easily fixed, so we shall see :)
I enjoyed a nice easy run in Umstead on Saturday with some other crazies...always nice to have someone else to suffer along with me! :)

Thanks, Crystal!
This was an ornament I got for Christmas...after I took the tree down, I decided to hang it in the kitchen from one of my cabinet doors, to remind me why I am out of bed and it is still dark and cold out :)

Danielle, Steph, and me post run Saturday morning....
