I have had a few minor setbacks (think strep throat for me and Ella and bursitis with a little cortisone)...but I think that someone was just trying to get my fiesty side going...and it worked. As I sit here now, I am listening to my playlist- which is rather diverse. The songs were chosen by many friends, and yes, I do remember out on the trail who suggested what song!
I haven't been able to run since last Wednesday...gotta give my hip every chance to get strong...so it will be a surprise when I take that first step Saturday morning. I am biking to get the sweat and fidgets out...and we are in full taper mode at the Clinard house!!!! Full taper mode without a running outlet....life is a little scary in these parts.
Yesterday I made 20 plus bags of 1.5 scoops of carbo-pro. I also separated and bagged my honey waffles, gels, advil, S-Caps, endurolytes, peaches, and pears. Clothes are appropriately separated and placed in large ziploc bags (and labeled as such!)....now we finalize the packing and rest and hydrate!!!!

Waiting for KO and Teresa and other friends at the ATT trail full and half marathon! Ella and Laney are carb loading, too!

You've prepared so early! Last year I started packing and organizing on Thursday evening but didn't finish until Friday after dinner. You're gonna do awesome! See you in a few days.
