So the big news this week is the Frosty 50k event coming up on Saturday. I am excited to see just how my mind and body react to going the distance. Coach Ian promised a nice easy recovery week next week if I can manage to suck it up and run hard at the end....so the plan is to run the "event" like a progressive training run. We shall see how that goes. I am going to sit down and work out all the details for myself and Crew Support Chief this week- gonna be fun! I will try to remember the day so that I can fill everyone in! However, before Saturday I have to get through one of my anxiety provoking workouts (Coach Ian doesn't know yet how much anxiety the Yasso 800s workout can invoke!). Not sure why this workout stresses me so mentally, but it does. So after Tuesday, I will be relieved!
The conversation has come up multiple times this week about resolutions...and well, I don't typically set any. I am a goal setter, and set my goals throughout the year, not for January 1. I am, however, always supportive of those who like to set new goals for the new year (unlike Paige- see below how she feels about resolutions). I like to look at this time as a time to reflect and see what I would like to work on or continue to do throughout the next year, with no specific start date. So, with that said, I don't anticipate a new me anytime soon....my first big goal is to successfully complete the Frosty 50k!

Keep up the great work!
